Scots recall Ford and Gray for World Cup quarter-final

TWICKENHAM (UNITED KINGDOM) - Scotland recalled Ross Ford and Jonny Gray for Sunday's World Cup quarter-final against Australia at Twickenham after they won appeals against suspensions.

Hooker Ford and bolt Gray won their advances on Saturday against a three-week boycott for a risky tip tackle on Samoa's Jack Lam amid Scotland's 36-33 triumph a weekend ago.

Mentor Vern Cotter had by Saturday as of now named his side to play Australia according to competition regulations.

Dark supplanted Tim Swinson in the second column, with Ford assuming control from Fraser Brown.

Both Swinson and Brown are presently on the seat.

Scotland have reviewed hooker Ross Ford and bolt Jonny Gray to their group to face Australia in the World Cup quarter-last at Twickenham - a day after their three-week bans were lifted.

An hour before the match with the Wallabies, the Scots confirmed that both men would start, with Brown and Swinson reverting to the bench. Hooker Kevin Bryce and loose forward Alasdair Strokosch are the unlucky men who drop out of the 23.
