NBC names Taylor as Swift key adviser for THE VOICE knockout rounds

The seven times Emmy award winning musical – competition series “ The Voice” by NBC has officially confirmed Taylor Swift, the seven time Grammy winner, as the key advisor for the current season. She will serve as the mentor for all the artists of the four teams.

Taylor Swift is the youngest recipient of the Grammy’s album of the year by becoming the best selling digital music artist of all time. She is the only female artist in the history of music to hit the 1 million sales figure twice in its first week launch. She has already sold over 30 million albums worldwide.
Her up-coming album “1989”, scheduled for the release on Oct 27 has already been proclaimed the number 1 for her single song “Shake It Off”.
The 24 year old artist will be shortly joining fellow newbie’s Pharrel Williams and Gwen Stefani along with the voice veterans Blake Shelton and the Maron 5’s lead vocalist Adam Levine. These new artists will try to earn the support of their respective coaches, who will have to decide who will move on to the next Playoff’s Rounds.
The new season of Knockout Rounds (airing Oct., 27, 28 and Nov. 3) will be jam packed with stars to the likes of Stevie Wonder and Alicia Key’s, who will act as coaches in the background.
Taylor will be primarily advising her protégés on vocal techniques, stage presence improvement and preferential song selection for each round. However there’s no news whether she will make more appearances beyond the November 7 show.
The revelation by NBS comes just in time for the star, as this opportunity provides a primetime exposure, when the knockout rounds being at the end of the October. A good opportunity to promote her new album with a good stage all set.
“The Voice” is a presentation of the United Media Artists Group, Talpa Media USA Inc. and Warner HORIZON Television. It has averaged a 4.0 rating with 13.2 million viewers overall as depicted in “same day averages” from Nielsen Media Research, making it the No.3 entertainment series as well as a big hit on the Big 4 networks so far as this season.
